5. Uso Limitado de los datos de Google

Seivi's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Instrucciones paso a paso →

Privacy Policy

In one line: Seivi reads only the notification emails your bank sends you and turns them into your transactions. Nothing else.

Effective October 11, 2026.

1. What Google data Seivi accesses

If you connect your Gmail account, Seivi requests a single, read-only scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly.

With that permission Seivi searches your mailbox only for messages sent by the notification addresses of the supported banks. Today that is 8 addresses, queried with a sender (from:) search. The list grows only when we add a bank or a bank starts notifying from a new address. They are always official bank notification addresses. This page shows the current list:

No other message in your account is listed, opened, downloaded, or stored. Seivi cannot send, reply to, move, label, or delete mail: the scope is read-only.

2. Hotmail and Outlook: what Microsoft data Seivi accesses

If you connect a Hotmail, Outlook.com, or Live account, Seivi accesses it through Microsoft Graph with three permissions: Mail.Read, User.Read, and offline_access.

  • Mail.Read: read-only access to your mail. Seivi uses it exactly as with Gmail: it searches only for messages sent by the same 8 bank addresses (a sender filter), and nothing else.
  • User.Read: only to learn the address of the account you connected and show it to you in the app.
  • offline_access: so Seivi can keep checking for bank emails without asking you to sign in every time.

When a new message arrives, Microsoft notifies Seivi with a notice that carries only an identifier, never the message content; Seivi then runs the same sender search. No other message is listed, opened, downloaded, or stored, and Seivi cannot send, move, or delete mail.

3. How that data is used

For one purpose only: to detect movements on your cards and accounts and show them to you inside Seivi. Only these fields are extracted from each bank email:

  • the merchant or description;
  • the amount and currency;
  • the date;
  • the last digits of the card or account;
  • the bank's transaction reference;
  • the transaction type (purchase, transfer, income, refund).

Nothing else is extracted. Your mail data, from Google or Microsoft, is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models.

4. What is stored, and for how long

DataRetention
Transactions (the fields in section 3) Until you delete your account.
Email metadata (sender, subject, message id) Kept as a processing log and to avoid recording the same movement twice. Deleted with your account.
Raw email content Stored only when a message could not be parsed, so the parser can be fixed. Deleted automatically within 5 days, and never readable from the app.
The mail refresh token (Gmail or Microsoft) Encrypted at rest on the server and never sent to the phone. Deleted when you disconnect your mail or delete your account.

5. Limited Use disclosure

Seivi's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Concretely, information obtained from Google APIs is:

  • never used for advertising or profiling;
  • never sold to anyone;
  • never transferred to third parties, except the subprocessors strictly required to operate the service (listed in section 8);
  • never read by a human, except with your explicit consent to resolve a support issue, or where required for security or legal compliance.

6. How to revoke access

In the app: Ajustes → Correo → Desconectar (Settings → Mail → Disconnect).

You can also remove the permission from your account: at myaccount.google.com/permissions for Google, or account.live.com/consent/Manage for Microsoft.

Transactions already stored in your Seivi account remain until you delete your account.

7. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account in the app, under Ajustes → Eliminar cuenta (Settings → Delete account), or by writing to soporte@seivi.app from the address you registered with. Deletion removes your transactions, email metadata, Gmail or Microsoft tokens, and device push tokens.

Step-by-step instructions →

8. Subprocessors

Seivi does not sell your data or share it with advertisers. It relies on these providers, each with the minimum required:

  • Supabase — Database, authentication, and server functions. Hosting region: United States (AWS us-west-2, Oregon).
  • Resend — Transactional email: sign-in codes and inbound forwarded mail.
  • Expo — Push notification delivery.
  • Apple Push Notification service — Push notification delivery on iPhone.
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notification delivery on Android.
  • Google (Gmail API) — Read-only access to your bank's notification emails, with your consent.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft Graph: Hotmail, Outlook) — Read-only access to your bank's notification emails, if you connect Hotmail or Outlook, with your consent.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the security of the service or its users.

9. Other data the app handles

  • Your email address, for your account and to sign in. We confirm the address with a 6-digit code.
  • A push token for each phone where you install Seivi, so we can notify you of a new movement.
  • Biometric lock is handled by your phone's operating system. Seivi never sees your fingerprint or face.
  • Receipt photos are processed entirely on your phone. The photo is never uploaded; only the text you confirm is saved as a transaction.
  • Manual entries and your category corrections, which Seivi remembers to classify your future movements better.
  • Forwarding address. If you use forwarding instead of connecting your mail, Seivi processes the mail you forward under the same rules as this policy. Mail arriving at an unknown address is discarded without being stored.

10. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Gmail and Microsoft tokens are stored encrypted on the server and never sent to the phone. Access to your data is restricted to your own account by database-level security rules. No system is perfect, and Seivi does not claim otherwise.

11. Children

Seivi is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change something material, we update the effective date above and, when the change warrants it, notify you inside the app.
